I love this series so much but I just couldn't give this one more than 3 stars while the other three books in this series (including book 4 which I've already read) I would give all 5 stars. My biggest problem with this book was that it was so short and about one fourth of the book was spent retelling the story from the previous books. Yes I get that you need to catch readers up who haven't read the books in order like they should have, but that doesn't mean you have to tell them every little detail. A reader who picks up a book in the middle of the series should expect some level of not understanding since they haven't read the other books. For those who have the whole retelling thing is just super redundant and annoying. It's also a tad disrespectful to the reader that rhodes spent so much time retelling and the book was already shorter than the previous one. I felt book 2 had a much better flow and didn't rehash all the details like this one. This is such a major part of the series and I feel like rhodes didn't give it the attention it deserved. Very disappointing. But for a small spoiler, rhodes made it up to me in book 4 which is by far my favorite. I loved wen and Wesley's story and am so glad they got a book of their own.Product details

Love your books as you know
I'm still wondering when or if the last book in this series is ever going to come out and if you're ever going to put your books on
I was very happy with this. I loved the way it started where the last book left off and did not leave me hanging with a big build up. It is also a book that can stand on its own but is much much better if you have read the previous two because you really start to care about the characters. I am on pins and needles waiting for the next installment. Keep them coming Rhodes!
I have read all the books in this series. Great characters...hot, hot hot! Can't wait for the next two books that are on there way.
I can't say how disappointed I was with this book bc I really enjoyed the series. But the author put very little thought into this book and the last 20 pages were really lame.
I have read Lords of Kellsborn and Ballian. Great books! The story is compelling, filled with steamy intimacy.can't wait to find out how Byram is defeated. Been a Long wait too. I enjoy the magick, the hostory slowly tevealed, the quirky characters and the mystery that is the Draegans.
I am in love with this storyline. I think this is one of the few books I have read more than once. The story is great, the plot and yes it has a plot is very interesting. I started reading and could not put it down. I started very tentatively with the first book, took a chance reading some of other people's posts on the book and have not regreted it. After I read the first one, I immediately got books two and three to read. I loved the story line and the interesting twists. I can't wait for the next installment of the series. Finally a good book with plot worth readint.
The third book in the series and it was good but really short (which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. The author could have put more into the book and built out the secondary characters a little more, if we're going to follow all of these individuals then invest a little more time in developing them). It left me wanting more, maybe it was so short because there wasn't all the sex in it (don't get me wrong there was still sex, just not as much). It was a good follow-up to the Lords of Kellesborne and I enjoyed it. As I was hopping there was a good conclusion for the end of the last book and you weren't left out in the cold and it wasn't fluffed over. Thank you.
I loved how the author showed the characters grow (I don't want to give anything away so I'm being vague on that). That growth and acceptance is what made this book for me, I'm sure it will play out at some point and maybe not in the way you hope. There are still a lot of questions out there, but not annoyingly so. The author makes you want more while teasing you a little a long the way. Not all the questions get answered here by any means but enough of them do to not put you off. The only problem now is having to wait for book four to come out.
